FPC, the Ainsdale-based independent financial planning and investment advice firm, has been confirmed as headline sponsor of this year’s Queenscourt Hospice International Women’s Day event, taking place at The Grand in Southport, on Friday 6th March 2026.

The lunch event will bring together business leaders, professionals, community organisations and civic figures from across the region to celebrate leadership, equality and empowerment, while raising vital funds to support the hospice’s work across West Lancashire, Formby and Southport.

Having been based initially in Birkdale, and now Ainsdale for the last 25 years, FPC’s continued sponsorship of the event reflects its own commitment to the local community and recognition of the special place Queenscourt Hospice holds in the hearts of local residents.

Moira O’Shaughnessy, Managing Partner, FPC, said:

“Queenscourt Hospice plays an incredibly important role in our community, supporting individuals and families at the most difficult times in their lives. We’re proud to once again support their International Women’s Day event and stand alongside an organisation whose work is rooted in care, compassion and long-term impact.

“The theme this year, ‘Give to Gain’, strongly resonates with our belief that when individuals and organisations take a long-term, values-led approach, the benefits are shared far more widely.”

Liz Hartley, Fundraising Manager, Queenscourt Hospice, said:

“The ‘Give to Gain’ theme speaks powerfully to the way Queenscourt is supported by its community, and partnerships like this make a real difference to the families we care for across West Lancashire, Formby and Southport. International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate leadership and compassion, and FPC’s support for our work reflects that spirit.”

The ‘Give to Gain’ theme will shape the programme of speakers and discussions on the day, focusing on leadership, collaboration and the wider impact of investing in people and communities.

FPC provides independent financial planning and investment management services, working with individuals, families and business owners to help them make confident decisions, protect what matters, and plan for the long term.
