Southport Air Show takes place this Saturday and Sunday (30th and 31st August 2025) with an exciting line-up of aircraft including the Typhoon Display Team, The Starlings, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, L-39 Albatros, Great War Display Team, Aerosuperbatics – Wingwalkers and more:

Tickets for the event can be booked online via the VisitSouthport website:  Southport Air Show Tickets | Sat 30th & Sun 31st August 2025, 10am

Along Marine Drive, browse a wide selection of stalls featuring everything from military memorabilia and original artwork to tasty treats and children’s toys.

For those seeking a rush, the flight simulators offer a chance to feel what it’s like to be in the cockpit—do you have what it takes to handle the G-force?

1 – The Military Village

The Military Village, located on Marine Drive, is home to incredible equipment displays from the Armed Forces.

If you’re curious about a future in the Armed Forces, this is the place to be. Meet members of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, and learn more about their roles and career opportunities.

The local Air Cadets will be at the show and as well as volunteering they are promoting and encouraging young people with an interest in aviation to join up, and with what’s on offer, you won’t need much persuading! Aside from flying, sports, target shooting, adventure training and great fun, you will see the benefits of your own efforts, building on your achievements and earning BTECs and DoE Awards.

2 – RAF Chinook
