Because the afternoon teas are made to order, they must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, with three available time slots: 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

You can pair your food with a selection of premium loose-leaf teas or upgrade to a glass of sparkling Champagne or festive mulled wine for an extra touch of luxury.

Mikhail Hotel and Leisure Director of Food Colin Gannon said: “We promise to make it a memorable Christmas for everyone who dines with us this November and December!

“We have a variety of experiences that people will love.

“Our Festive Afternoon Teams are extremely popular.

“Everything is freshly made and hand baked to order, so we require at least 24 hours’ notice when people are booking.

“It is a really special experience to enjoy inside the beautiful setting of The Grand Brasserie.

“We have seen lots of bookings being made already, and we see all sorts of diners coming to visit us.

“Our Festive Afternoon Teas are perfect for families; for friends; for groups; for couples.

“There is something intimate and very special about sharing an afternoon tea together.

“It makes the world of difference when you are enjoying freshly made sandwiches and cakes rather than shop-bought.

“You can even pair your afternoon tea with a glass of sparkling Champagne or festive mulled wine for an extra touch of luxury.

“Well, it is Christmas – why not treat yourself?”
