Express Performing Arts Academy youngsters wow audiences with Christmas shows

Talented youngsters at Express Performing Arts Academy in Southport have treated audiences to a special Christmas event and performance. 

Owner Lisa Walshe said: “The event was a great success, held at the Fleetwood Hesketh Sports and Social Club in Southport, with three sessions of performances from our Express performers. 

“Extracts from Grease, Nativity! the musical and Cruella were showcased, alongside a Harry Potter influenced piece by the older group and a combination of fun and dance from the all boys group.

“We were lucky enough to collaborate with some local businesses, who donated sponsorship money for props and costumes on the evening. 

“A huge thank you from both of us to all of our amazing parents, to our sponsors: Barron Financial Solutions; Express Kids Casting; LP Joinery; Granitehouse; Terry Moran Photography; Lloyd & Co. “Also a huge mention to One Stop Balloons for the wonderful balloon arch, to Richard Tyson events amazing Dj’ing, thanks to Baz Todd Events for arranging and to Moonlight Events Ltd for their absolute professionalism and amazing letters and set dressing. 

“We also raised £300 for charity Save the Children and we’d like to thank our local businesses for raffle prize donations in aid of Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day appeal. Southport Meat Company, Remedy Churchtown, Churchtown Deli, RS Fine Chocolate, The Grapevine Restaurant & Wine Bar, AD SWIM STARS & Playtown Southport, we’re so pleased to have raised a great donation for an amazing charity thanks to you.
