Emergency Services Day at Southport FC will see friendly matches, bouncy castles, stalls and character guests

Everyone is invited to an Emergency Services Day taking place at Southport Football Club. 

This special event will take place between 9am and 4pm on Sunday 11th May 2025, with a day packed with entertainment – finishing with an Emergency Services friendly match. 

All monies raised will go directly to Southport FC Foundation, which supports various events within our community.

Families will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, ice cream, special character guests, face painting, grassroots matches, and market stalls hosted by local businesses.

The event will be hosted by local comedian Brendan Riley, the organiser of the annual Southport Comedy Festival.

Southport FC’s catering and bar facilities will be open all day. 

The game will be played two weeks after Southport FC host their final game of the season, against Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday 26th April 2025. 

The Liverpool FC Foundation will be opening the event at 9am with football development and activities on the pitch for all children in attendance.

Other activities include: 

9.40am – Opening Ceremony with Express Performing Arts

10am – First match of the day. FC Sandgrounders U9 girls vs Crosby Stuart U9 girls

11am – Primary School Tournament

1pm – LFC Foundation Beat The Goalie / Babyballet

1.30pm – Emergency Services tournament
