Southport based Elite Events has been announced as a Regional Finalist for the North West Wedding Industry Awards with the aim of being recognised as the best in the region.
Mark Dilley the owner of Elite Events says being recognised in such a prestigious awards competition for the second year is a great accomplishment for the dedicated team at Elite, which strives to deliver an outstanding service.
The first step on the road to national glory will be a triumph at the Regional Awards event on 11th November 2025 in Cheshire. Here, the companies that have received the best feedback from their clients and have caught the eye of the expert Judging Panel will be crowned Regional Winner before progressing to the National Finals in January 2026.
Elite Events continues to grow its reputation and the number of events, functions and festivals it delivers in the North West Region.
The firm caters for clients with a range of budgets and requirements and already has big plans to expand its offering next year.
The Southport-based firm has over 60 people in its team, which continues to grow.
Its sister company is Elite Marquees.

“We keep growing year on year, there are over 60 people in our team now.
“Together we have supported lots of weddings and some really big events and festivals this year.
“We provided the infrastructure and bar concession for the Salt and Tar Weekender in Bootle for the second year, which hosted stars including Billy Ocean, The Sugababes, The Ks, and Ocean Colour Scene.
“Other big events we have worked at this year have included the Aintree Races and The Grand National, British musical fireworks, the 17-day Southport Comedy Festival, the Summer Solstice in Southport, and the Reminisce Festival in St Helens. We have Southport Oktoberfest coming up this weekend.
“Next year we have even more big events and festivals in the pipeline which we are very excited about – watch this space!”
