A local electronics company is in talks about building a new 20,000 sq ft unit at Southport Business Park.

InvestSefton, the Sefton Council team which provides support to businesses across Sefton, is working with the local authority’s Regeneration department to support further investment in the site at Wight Moss Way in Kew.

Agents for Seabank House, formerly the Experian building, are in discussions with one interested purchaser.

Development plans from a Southport-based security systems supplier are progressing, with agents now appointed to negotiate heads of terms.

InvestSefton is also pursuing new inward investment at Mersey Reach in Bootle.

Officers continue to work with the owner and agents to ensure that they are up to date with new companies moving in and can offer appropriate support.

They say that despite uncertain market conditions, enquiry levels remain high with units under offer to public and private sector organisations.

MerseyCare has taken a lease on the largest unit available in Phase 2 (c. 30,000 sq ft).

Seven units are still available ranging from 4,047 – 8,982 sq ft.
