The EFT Foundation made a £500 donation to the Southport Armed Forces Community Hub at the 80th VJ Day event

The EFT Foundation in Southport was delighted to show their support on the 80th VJ Day with a £500 cheque donation to the Southport Armed Forces Community Hub.

The Hub, on Wesley Street in Southport town centre, is operated by the Southport Branch of the Royal British Legion.

Monies were raised recently at the EFT family funday raffle.

EFT champions all of the great works that the Armed Forces continue to do as they have many veterans that work across the Group.

The cheque was presented by EFT colleagues and Foundation committee members, Dominic Darvell and Jack Kaehir who is himself a Sapper Veteran who served in the 59 Commando.

It was a very moving morning to reflect and show thanks to all those that served and those that continue to do so.

EFT Group, based on Cobden Road in Southport, consists of EFT Systems, EFT Construction and EFT Electrical, a combination of businesses that provides a unique partnership to build, protect and maintain clients’ property, life safety and security assets.

EFT Systems was formed in 1974 as an integrated security manufacturer, designer, installer and maintainer across the North West has seen a rapid transition in recent years.
