Dune Radio has arrived! Dune Radio has today officially launched onto the airwaves across the North West Coast and listeners have a choice of different ways to … ‘Tune into Dune’.

Formerly broadcasting as Sandgrounder Radio, Dune Radio continues where Sandgrounder left off – providing a local, commercial radio service covering Southport, Lytham St Annes and the North West Coast – however the team have a clutch of new features to roll out to go with their fresh new look.

Dune Radio’s Content Director, Andy Hilbert said: “This is such an exciting time for the team. After seven years as Sandgrounder, we felt that we had taken the brand as far as we could and we’re now dedicated to ensuring that Dune Radio will be an informative, entertaining and engaging, commercial radio service for the whole of the North West Coast. Our launch partner is Visit Southport to promote their brand new website, something that fits perfectly with our new look”

Andy added: “We have lots of new things planned in the coming weeks and months including new ways to engage with local people and businesses. In fact, bringing local programming, advertising and content (both on air and online) is crucial to driving benefits to our advertisers and listeners. Dune Radio is determined to become a key part of the local community and our friendly team is on hand to discuss how we can help you promote your business, event or campaign. We offer flexible, imaginative packages that offer tremendous value for money – but more importantly, we truly value our listeners and business partners, we take that relationship very seriously and look forward to delivering our bright new station.”
