In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott has taken to social media to show his support for the upcoming production by Queenscourt Theatre Company.
The talented actor expressed his excitement at attending the show this weekend, which is set to take place at Ormskirk Civic Hall on the 19th and 20th of July 2024.
The performances are not only a showcase of local talent but also serve a noble cause, as they aim to raise money and awareness for Queenscourt Hospice, a vital charity providing support for the people of West Lancashire, Southport, and Formby. Queenscourt Hospice offers specialised palliative care both at home, in hospitals, and at the Inpatient Unit, ensuring comfort and dignity for those in need.
In his video message, Ryan urges followers and fans to come along and enjoy the show while supporting a worthy cause. He highlights the dates and times of the performances, encouraging everyone to mark their calendars and make a difference in the community.
Ryan takes time to pay tribute to his “inspirational” dance teacher Joyce Court who was cared for at Queenscourt before she sadly passed away last year.
Many of the cast members will be performing in memory of Joyce and the other friends and family members Queens Court has supported over the years adding a poignant touch to the event.
The collaborative effort of Queenscourt Theatre and its dedicated cast members promises a weekend filled with entertainment, emotion, and most importantly, support for those in need.
