Comedy Bingo Winter Socials sponsored by Halliwell Jones Kia are back at Southport Market this winter!
The first event was a resounding success, with guests delighted to be back enjoying an afternoon of friendship, laughter – and great prizes!
The popular social events take place every fortnight at Southport Market, with the next ones taking place on:
- Wednesday 5th November 2025
- Wednesday 19th November 2025
- Wednesday 3rd December 2025

Tickets can also be bought on the door on the day of the events.
They will carry on throughout autumn and winter until April 2026.
They are sponsored by Halliwell Jones Kia and are supported by the Sefton Council Tourism team.
Doors open at 1pm for a 1.30pm start and run until 3.30pm.
The Comedy Bingo Winter Socials are hosted by Comedy Bingo owner and local comedian Brendan Riley.
Admission is just £3 each, which includes a free drink and bingo books.
Players have the chance to win some fabulous prizes thanks to generous local businesses including Portovino, Crystal Clear Opticians, Silcock Leisure Group, The Atkinson, Southport Market, Southport Flower Show, Vue Cinema, FenneeKay Hair & Beauty, Tesco, Tapper’s Cafe, Masters Putting Green and others.

All the food outlets and the central bar in the Market will be open during the Comedy Bingo Winter Socials for anyone looking to enjoy some food while they play.

“It is fantastic to be back! We had a superb first afternoon of Comedy Bingo at Southport Southport, with a lovely audience and a fabulous atmosphere.
“People have missed being able to come out and play comedy bingo, and it was great to see lots of new faces playing too.
“We’re really grateful for the brilliant support we get from Halliwell Jones Kia, the Sefton Council Tourism team, Southport Market, and all the local businesses who kindly provide some excellent prizes.
“We are carrying on now until the end of April. Now that the clocks have gone back, the days are colder and the nights are darker, we don’t want people to be at home on their own.
“Come out and join us for a great afternoon with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
“Comedy Bingo is a really fun, entertaining and interactive event that can be played by anyone from 1 to 105!
“Come along on your own; come down with family or friends; you’re guaranteed a very warm comedy bingo welcome.
