Churchtown Pet Boutique has stepped forward to sponsor the first ever Queenscourt Hospice Wag & Walk event.

The brand-new fundraising event is happening all throughout September with dog owners invited to take part.

This fun-filled challenge is perfect for dog lovers and fitness enthusiasts alike. The goal? To walk 100 kilometres between September 1st and 30th with your furry best friend by your side. The best part? While you’re clocking up those kilometres, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds that keep Queenscourt’s essential services going strong.

A Queenscourt Hospice spokesperson said:

“We are delighted that the wonderful Andy and Tracy (and not forgetting their lovely doggy, Luna) from Churchtown pet Boutique  have kindly sponsored our Wag & Walk event.

“We can’t thank them enough for the generosity! Not only are they sponsoring the event, but they have also said that for every dog that completes their 100km, they will receive some tasty treats from their pet shop!

“What a lovely way to finish the challenge, sign up now if you haven’t already – www.queenscourt.org.uk/support-us/shop/online-shop/wag-walk/

“Bone Appetite!”

Wag & Walk is designed for everyone—whether you’re a power-walker or a casual stroller. You can take on the 100 kilometres however you like, at your own pace. Fancy a breezy daily park stroll or perhaps a weekend countryside trek? Whatever works for you, works for us. And don’t worry—Queenscourt will be cheering you on every step of the way. No pressure, just tons of tail-wagging fun!

And what’s a challenge without some swag? Every doggy who signs up will snag a Queenscourt-branded stylish bandana to strut their stuff in—because they deserve to look as fabulous as they feel!

Queenscourt Hospice is calling on the community to lace up those walking shoes, rally the pups, and join this pawsitively amazing cause. Not only will you be boosting your own health and happiness, but you’ll also be making sure that Queenscourt can continue providing compassionate care to those who need it most.

Hayley Jones, Community and Challenge Fundraiser at Queenscourt Hospice, said:

“I’m absolutely thrilled to launch this new fundraising challenge in September! Wag & Walk is such an easy, fun way to get some fresh air, connect with loved ones, and support our incredible charity.”

A special shout-out goes to our generous sponsors, Churchtown Pet Boutique, whose support has made this event possible.
