Christmas is coming to Southport this December with a brand new Christmas ball!
People can also book on the return of the popular Breakfast with Santa events, as well as the annual Southport Santa Sprint for Queenscourt Hospice.
All three events are being hosted by Silcock Leisure Group, taking place at Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant, Silcock’s Carousel and Silcock’s Funland on the Promenade.

The Big Christmas Princess Ball
An exciting new event for this year is The Big Christmas Princess Ball, organised by Regally Royal Events.
This magical Christmas afternoon, packed with festive fun for the whole family, is at Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant on the Promenade in Southport 1pm-4pm on Saturday 12th December 2026.
Enjoy Santa, a princess show, festive afternoon tea and a ride on Silcock’s Carousel for £22 + booking fee.
Meet the beautiful Christmas Princesses and enjoy a spectacular festive show with three hours filled with singing, dancing and Christmas magic.
Step into Santa’s Grotto, meet Santa and receive a mini Christmas gift. Enjoy a delicious Christmas Afternoon Tea. Take a magical ride on the Christmas Carousel. Enjoy festive activities, entertainment and plenty of opportunities to make magical Christmas memories.
Available on 13th, 19th, 20th and 23rd December, plus Christmas Eve.

Breakfast With Santa
Call into Silcock’s Family Pier Restaurant in Southport and join Santa and his elves for breakfast, a festive hot chocolate, a small gift and a ride on the famous Silcock’s Carousel.
Why not take a selfie with Santa and his Carousel Horse, it’s the perfect way to start your Christmas.
There’s a choice of breakfast – sausage, hash browns and baked beans, or American pancakes with fruit and syrup.
Choice of drinks – Christmas hot chocolate or juice.
Take away a Christmas Goody Bag with a gift, prize tickets and a ride on the Carousel.
A breakfast menu for adults will also be available to purchase on the day.

Southport Santa Sprint
Queenscourt’s Santa Sprint returns on Sunday 6th December 2026, with online registration open from Monday 12th October 2026.
It starts and ends at Silcock’s Funland, with Silcock Leisure Group once again a sponsor of the event.
The iconic event, which sees Southport’s coastline become a sea of Santas, is now in its 18th year and has raised over £170,000 in that time.
It is a full family affair, with members of every generation coming together – even your dog can take part!
Once again there will be both a 3K and 5K route for you to walk, jog or run. The route is suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, pushchairs and buggies.
Entry includes: Santa Suit; Finishers medal; Free tea / coffee at Silcock’s Funland; Free crazy golf at Masters Crazy Golf; Free ride on the Carousel.
Registration costs £20 for adults, £10 for under 16s or £50 for a family of two adults and two children. Your Santa Sprint registration covers the cost of your Santa, medal and the organisation of the event.
