Central 12 retail park in Southport has launched a Southport Superheroes campaign

Central 12 Shopping Park has launched a Southport Superheroes campaign, where they are profiling the people, groups and businesses who are making a real difference locally.

A spokesman said: “There has been a huge rise in community spirit during the Covid-19 crisis and the centre will be sharing as many stories as possible to spread positivity within the local area.

“The Central 12 Shopping Park team, like many, is in awe of the way that the community has come together to make a real difference to people’s lives, especially those who are less able and fortunate to rise to the challenge of the Coronavirus.

“All entrants need to do to feature their Southport Superhero is send a photo to Central 12 Shopping Park’s Facebook page and a couple of lines (up to 50 words) about any superhero work loved ones, family and colleagues are doing.

“The shopping park has also launched a range of remote activities to help keep families active,

educated and entertained whilst they are at home.

“This includes remote storytelling sessions, princess sing-a-longs, home workout videos and home-schooling packs for children, which are all free and accessible online.”
