Adventure Coast Southport has won the Bronze Award North for Best Seaside Park in the 2025 UK Theme Park Awards.
For the sixth year, the British public helped to choose the winners by casting their votes.
Organised by ThemeParks-UK.com, the independent consumer guide to UK theme parks, the awards were presented in association with AttractionTickets.com.
The results were revealed at a glittering awards ceremony hosted at the historic Wicksteed Park in Northamptonshire, which was attended by more than 180 representatives from the UK theme park industry.
This year’s ceremony was presented by Naomi Wilkinson, TV presenter and children’s entertainment favourite, alongside Dave Payne, a renowned presenter and master of awards ceremonies.
There were 22 categories in total including Best New Attraction, Best Theme Park for Families, for Toddlers and for Thrills, the Best Seaside Park and Theme Park of the Year. New categories for this year included Best Use of IP, Best Queue Line Experience or Pre-Show, and Best Integration of Technology.
Ahead of the public vote, a shortlist was compiled using nominations and the expertise of the judging panel. 334,371 public votes were combined with the scores from the judging panel to determine the winners in each category.
Adventure Coast Southport CEO Norman Wallis said:
“We were delighted to be awarded the Bronze Award North at the UK Theme Park Awards.
“It was the second year in a row we have won this one and it was a great honour.
“We are so pleased to be able to show Southport in a positive light.
“It was a superb event with theme parks from all over the country represented.
“We never expected to win with so much competition from across the UK so to hear our name called out was a real honour.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us, your support really means the world!
“I’d like to say congratulations to all the other amazing finalists.
“We have a great team at Adventure Coast Southport who have made this win possible. By working hard together, they do a really good job.”
Adventure Coast Southport is now getting ready to host its annual Day Of The Dead Festival, which will take place on Saturday 1st November and Saturday 8th November 2025.
Visitors are invited to step into a world of colour and celebration inspired by Mexico’s vibrant Día de los Muertos.
Expect dazzling performances, live drummers, flame-throwing spectacles, and a breathtaking fireworks finale.

“We are all very busy now getting everything ready for our Day Of The Dead Festival which just gets bigger and better every year.
“It’s an event which brings so many people into Southport from across the country, and that provides a welcome boost to many local shops, hotels, guest houses, cafes and bars.
“We were the first ones in the North West to create this event and now it’s being copied by other attractions.
“It shows what a huge success it’s become.”
