A woman who makes dreams come true for couples is celebrating winning the North West Wedding Planner of the Year for the third time!
Lauren Uzzell, the owner of LMJ Weddings and Events, has now notched up a hat-trick of prestigious accolades at the Wedding Industry Awards, having won the prestigious title in 2023, 2025 and 2026.
She will now compete in the national awards, which take place at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool on 11th January 2026, having won the North West title at Heaton House Farm in Macclesfield.
Lauren said: “I am thrilled to have won this award for the third time! It’s a real honour.
“This is an accolade really worth celebrating, and I am delighted. There were tears of joy when I was coming home with the award!
“It is one of those moments that really stands out.
“The national finals are usually held in London and I am pleased that this year they are being held in Liverpool, so I am looking forward to attending and enjoying the occasion.
“I can’t wait to meet all of the other regional finalists as we all come together.
“I have been the wedding planner for 18 weddings this year. I could do many more but I like to give sufficient time to each and every one.
“I am blessed to have received 5.5 ratings for them all.
“Although I am based in Cheshire, I have been involved with weddings all over the UK, with a wide range of budgets.
“I pride myself on making every wedding the very best it can be and always offer a really personal touch.
“I speak with couples during evenings, I take calls during the weekends, I am always available for them whenever they need me and try my best to help them with any questions that they may have.”
Lauren is originally from Conwy in North Wales and is based in Wirral. She plans weddings in Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and North Wales but is also available to plan anywhere in the country.
She deals with a whole range of issues behind the scenes without couples knowing – this can be anything from generators failing, to forgotten cutlery and running out of prosecco!
Lauren said: “I promise and deliver! I ensure that I take that stress away from couples and their families.”
The talented businesswoman was inspired to become a wedding planner after being chosen to be a bridesmaid 13 times.
She said: “After helping my friends for free, it was about time I made a living from it!
“Wedding planning has always been a dream of mine.
“LMJ Weddings and Events is the culmination of following my lifelong passion.
“Winning North West Wedding Planner Of The Year for the third time is a real honour for something I absolutely love doing.”
