A Southport church is inviting people to enjoy its new ‘Christmas Around The World’ Festival.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on Preston New Road, will host this special event 6pm-8pm on Saturday 5th December 2025, all welcome.
People from around the world are invited to come and share how Christmas is celebrated in their country.
The festival aims to help broaden understanding, promote unity and help enrich people’s appreciation of others’ cultures and traditions.
Esther Wall, the organiser of the event said, “This isn’t just going to be another Christmas party to attend. It’s going to be an opportunity to learn about how other Christians, from homes around the world, celebrate our Saviour’s birth.
“I am hoping that we will be able to get our local diverse community involved.
“If anyone would like to come along and add something to the mix of activities on offer by giving a short explanation or demonstration of their own country of origin’s Christmas related traditions, they would be very welcome.”
The FREE event will take place on Saturday 5th December 2025 at the Church on the corner of Preston New Road and North Road from 6pm-8pm. To get involved in the presentations, please comment below and Esther will contact you back directly with more details.
