The 101st anniversary Southport Flower Show takes place this week, with plenty to see and enjoy for people of all ages.
The biggest independent flower show in the UK and the fourth biggest paid attraction in the Liverpool City region, sponsored by Halliwell Jones Kia, will take place at Victoria Park from Thursday to Sunday (14th-17th August 2025) with an estimated 55,000 visitors expected.
Southport Flower Show and Victoria Park Events General Manager Alan Adams said:
“If you’ve never been to the Southport Flower Show before then come along for a great day out. There’s so much to see and do!
“We have fantastic show gardens; grand floral displays; large amateur competitions; as well as celebrity guests; entertainment; a show arena with dog displays, birds of prey, and show jumping returning.
“This year we have a fantastic children’s trail. All children under 16 can come free with paying adults, and could come and enjoy a whole range of activities at this year’s Southport Flower Show.
“It’s a show for all ages. Whether you’re 18 months old and you come along and see the children’s entertainer Justin Fletcher, or you’re taking part in the children’s activities, or whether you’re 108 years old, there’s something here for everybody!
“So of course there’s the Southport Flower Show that we look after.
“We also host many events in Victoria Park throughout the year.
“After the flower show we’ve got the Great British Motor Show on Sunday 14th September, followed by the British Musical Fireworks Championship on Saturday 27th September and Sunday 28th September, which also includes a fantastic drone display for the first time.
“This October, we have the Southport Comedy Festival (3rd – 19th October).
“We also have an Oktoberfest event on Friday 24th October and Saturday 25th October.
“Then in the winter time, we have winter ice skating throughout December and into January, so there’s something there for everyone at Victoria Park throughout the year.
“Southport Flower Show is being held at Victoria Park in Southport from Thursday, 14th August through to Sunday, 17th August.

“And don’t forget – children under 16 are free!”
Southport Flower Show is at Victoria Park, Southport, PR8 2BZ from Thursday, 14th August to Sunday, 17th August 2025.
Expect to see some familiar faces as celebrity guests, such as Children’s TV favourite Justin Fletcher; Kelvin and Liz Fletcher from ITV’s Fletchers’ Family Farm; gardening experts David Domoney, Carole and George from Beechgrove Garden and Nick Bailey; TV chefs and presenters Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery and Cherish Finden; plus Zack George aka Steel from Gladiators.
Children under 16 go FREE with a paying adult.
Southport adults can enjoy an impressive £11 off the price of a gate ticket.
People living in the PR8 and PR9 postcodes can pay for their tickets for just £19 each – a substantial saving on the £30 gate price once the event starts.
