The speakers have been revealed for the next Sandgrounders Business Club networking evening.
The event – which is free to attend – takes place at Southport Football Club on Haig Avenue in Southport from 5pm onwards on Wednesday, 8th November 2023.
There is no charge for attendance, but people are invited to register their place using this link.
The informal gathering is open to businesses in the Southport area and beyond.
There is free parking outside and a pay bar inside the ground.
Visitors are welcome to drop in and stay and network, or chat with other local business people, for as long or as little as they like.
Unlike other networking groups, there are no contracts involved, no fees and no restrictions on numbers of people in each profession.
Each month sees two guest speakers invited to give short talks to guests – one a sponsored speaker, the other a community / local interest speaker.
The sponsored speaker spot costs just £75.
On 8th November, from 6pm, people can hear from Liam Forkings, the Managing Director at Kitchen Desire.
The local independent kitchen and bedroom company designs, supplies and instals beautiful kitchens and bedrooms across Merseyside.
Enda Reylands will then talk about the superb work of the Community Link Foundation.
This is a local charity with a difference, which assists anyone in Southport and the surrounding areas who need financial support in the form of a variety of ways.
Enda is also Managing Owner at EPR Hospitality and Chair at Southport Rugby Football Club.
The Sandgrounders Business Club takes place at Southport Football Club on Haig Avenue on the second Wednesday of each month.
The Sandgrounders Business Club is organised by Southport Football Club, Birkdale Insurance Group, Midgley Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and Stand Up For Southport.
They said: “Everyone is welcome at our monthly Sandgrounders Business Club networking events. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone on Wednesday.
“The evening is a great way for local businesses to grow their connections, meet like-minded people and develop new contacts at the Big Help Stadium – without the costs sometimes involved with networking.
“This is a new initiative which allows local business people in Southport and the surrounding area to gather in a positive, relaxed and friendly environment.
“We look forward to seeing you there! If anyone has any questions, please get in touch.”
