The Firepit Smokehouse and Sports Bar and The Potting Shed on Lord Street in Southport town centre are due to reopen this May.
The stylish three storey venue at 171-141 Lord Street has been closed for a number of months.
Its reopening is a further boost for the historic Lord Street boulevard, which will see The Grand open in June following a £3million transformation, while building work is also taking place at the former Garrick Theatre / Mecca Bingo site, and the redevelopment of the building on the corner of Lord Street and Bold Street is almost complete.
John Roberts, General Manager of The Firepit Smokehouse and Sports Bar, said: “I’m delighted to announce we’ll be opening on Saturday 7th May.
“It’s a stunning venue and we have some brilliant events and offers lined up, so keep your eyes peeled.
“Since announcing our re-opening we’ve had a great response from the people of Southport and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”

The venue was bought out of administration in December 2019 by the current owners.
But it faced challenging times when the Covid-19 pandemic struck three months later.
Bosses are now looking forward to welcoming customers back for a busy summer season, with a busy events programme returning to the resort.
They include the Southport Food and Drink Festival in June, the Southport Air Show in July, the Southport Flower Show in August, and the British Musical Fireworks Championship in October and the Southport Comedy Festival in October.
Split across three floors, the unique Southport venue houses The Potting Shed on the ground floor, which is a relaxed family (and dog) friendly venue, specialising in artisan pizzas fresh from their wood fired pizza oven, creative cocktails and much more.

On the first floor there’s the Firepit Sports Bar, boasting the largest LED TV Wall in Southport, over 15 TVs, pool tables and shuffleboard.
Up on the top floor the rooftop terrace and a function room is complete with a state of the art retractable roof, making it ideal for enjoying some food and drink in the sun during the warmer months.
John Roberts said “The hospitality business was hit very hard by the pandemic but Southport is a town we’re very committed to and delighted to be reopening in.”
