People can enjoy the third and final night of The British Musical Fireworks Championship 2021 as it takes place at Victoria Park in Southport tonight (Sunday, 26th September).

Star Fireworks and Sonic Fireworks will create two breath-taking colourful pyro displays set to music, with the judges then left with the difficult choice of selecting this year’s winner.

Visitors can also enjoy bouncy castles and inflatables from Bouncy Castle Parade, with a number of food and drink outlets also on site.

After last night’s sell-out, tickets for tonight are still available either online at: www.visitsouthport.com or by paying on the gate.

Crowds have been enjoying seeing the return of the popular event this weekend, after it was called off last year due to the Covid pandemic.

Speaking on The British Musical Fireworks Championship Facebook page, Sue Foster said: “Can’t wait for tonight. Love them.”

Richard Voce said: “First time visitor last night and thoroughly enjoyed it with a great atmosphere.”

Samantha Pownall said: “Great night last night. Love our annual trip!”

Helen Leese said: “Fabulous evening yesterday. Great displays and fabulous weather. Great atmosphere. Well worth the annual trip from Stafford.”

Tina Ward said: “Fantastic night last night. Can’t wait to do it again next year.”

The Southport Musical Fireworks Championship is organised by the Sefton Council Tourism team, which recently organised the successful Southport Food and Drink Festival.

Tonight’s running order is:
