A film producer from Southport is hoping his creativity and his love of food from around the world will serve him well when he stars on Come Dine With Me this week!
Dad-of-two Peter Sinseeya, who is the CEO and Managing Director of Sinseeya Films and the Talent Manager at Bold Management, will be appearing on the show on Channel 4 at 5pm every night this week.
Peter gets his chance to host and show off his culinary skills on Thursday night.
He is keeping his exact dishes under wraps – viewers will have to tune in and find out what he cooks.
But he revealed his evening will have a British and South American theme.
The entertainment he provides will also be worth watching, with a mystery special guest, and an evening inspired by his film background.
Peter said: “My Dad is from Guyana in South America and my Mum is from Britain, so my menu will be a combination of both places. I wanted to take my guests through a journey of where I have been.
“I am starting off with a South American starter, and will finish off with a very British dessert! My thing was the taste of mixed race. That was my theme.”
Peter is currently making waves with his top quality TV and film productions.
He said: “I’m currently working on a project called Tungsten Flyers, written and starring Crissy Rock with Bhasker Patel and Paul Barber in this.
“I have a series called Matopulas which has Ricky Tomlinson, Crissy Rock, Louis Emerick, Bhasker Patel and Gary Cargil in it. I shot a scene on Southport Pier couple of weeks ago with Bhasker Patel.”
Peter has picked up recipes and tastes from his time living in countries across the world, including the USA.
At home he is just as happy cooking a Chinese noodle dish as he is Mexican, Italian or British, and loves to try different things.
He enjoyed the Come Dine With Me experience and is looking forward to seeing the episodes now that they have been edited.
He said: “I’ve lived by myself practically since I was 16 and I’ve lived in different countries. I’ve lived in South America for a bit, America for a bit, I’ve lived all over the UK.
“I enjoy cooking. I like good food and I have a creative spirit so I’m always inquisitive, that’s what got me into film. My son said to me ‘I could get an orange, a potato and a bit of ketchup, you could make something out of that’ that’s the type of person I am.”
He has lived in Southport for the past five months.
He said: “I love living in Southport! I have lived all over the world, but have never been anywhere as nice as this. Southport has everything. I hope to live here forever.”
