Bank Charity Shop Manager
£17,650 pro rata
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management the Charity shop as specified by the Area Retail Manager. They will work under the supervision of the Area Retail Manager, Deputy Area Retail Manager and in collaboration with other Shop Managers. They will liaise with the Co-ordinator of Volunteers on matters relating to shop volunteers and with members of the fundraising team when appropriate. The Charity Shop Manager will promote a positive image of the shop and of Queenscourt. A charity Shop Manager will need to be flexible and available to work across 7 days of the week. The post holder will be required to work across all Queenscourt Charity Shops as and when required.
The successful candidate will have previous retail experience including using an electronic point of sale (EPOS) with excellent customer service skills.

Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides support for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. We help to do this both in the Hospice and at home through our In-patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services. We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Individual Giving and Legacy Fundraiser with a proven track record of success, to join our friendly team and play a key role in developing our fundraising during our Pearl Anniversary year and beyond.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Individual Giving and Legacy Fundraiser to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate an ambitious and effective Individual Giving development programme for In Memory giving, individual donations, appeals, regular giving, and legacy marketing. You must be able to work well under your own initiative, take ownership of tasks, and contribute as a team player. You will work within a friendly, creative and enthusiastic Fundraising Team, to take the lead on maximising supporter recruitment, donor development and stewardship programmes, ensuring the delivery of significant income growth for our charity.
The ideal candidate will have proven track record in donor marketing, with the ability to think digitally and innovatively to maximise supporter engagement from new and existing donors. You will be a passionate and effective communicator, both written and verbally, and highly proficient in analysing data. You will have the creative flair to lead in the production of imaginative and effective bespoke fundraising campaigns. You will also be an empathetic individual in your communications with patients and relatives ensuring sensitivity and confidentiality at all times.
You will report directly to the Fundraising and Lottery Manager and this role will also involve some line management responsibilities.

You must be able to demonstrate empathy and communicate effectively about death and dying with patients, families and health professionals. The applicants must have experience of working within the community and possess NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent.
