Nine superb Southport attractions have been shortlisted in the Entertainment Venue of the Year category for the 2024 Your Southport Stars Awards!
It shows that visitors and local residents are not short of things to enjoy in the resort, with plenty to experience for people of all ages.
The Awards, organised by Southport BID, celebrate the vital contribution and positive impact of local businesses over the previous 12 months.
Entertainment Venue of the Year is among 12 categories in this year’s Your Southport Stars Awards, with a tough choice to make in the Entertainment Venue of the Year category:
- Lakeside Miniature Railway
- Playtown Southport
- Puzzology Escape Rooms
- Silcocks Funland & Carousel
- Southport Bijou Cinema
- Southport Pleasureland
- The Big Wheel and Alpine Village
- Victoria Park Events
- Viking Adventure Golf

Over 80 Southport town centre businesses are nominated over 12 categories.
The Awards night will take place at The Grand in Southport on Tuesday 16th April 2024, where businesses will be invited to come together and mark the achievements of the last year.
As well as the 12 distinct categories, the business with the most votes overall will receive the Business of the Year Award for 2024.
Voting closes on Thursday 5th April 2024.

Other categories include: National Retailer of the Year; Independent Retailer of the Year; Restaurant of the Year; Café or Coffee Shop of the Year; Pub, Bar or Club of the Year; Health and Fitness Venue of the Year; Beauty Business of the Year; Hotel or Guest House of the Year; Expert Services Business of the Year; Public Service Business of the Year; and New Business of the Year.
