The eagerly-awaited Festive Menus at The Grand in Southport are available to customers this week!
Diners will be able to enjoy Southport’s finest festive food in the stylish setting of The Grand Brasserie on Lord Street from Monday (20th November 2023) until 31st December, excluding Christmas Day.
The Grand is hosting a series of Christmas events in The Princess Grace Suite including a Motown Evening, a Peaky Blinders Evening, Soul Jam, Bon Giovi, 50s Rock n Roll, a Great Gatsby Evening, Frankie Allen, a Masquerade Ball, Abba Party, and Christmas Day with live singer Dave Broe and a Gala Dinner. There is superb value for top quality with a Festive 2-3 Course Menu, with two courses for £27 and three courses for £32. You can see the menu here.
There is a great choice with six starters, including Smooth Chicken Liver Parfait, King Prawn and Avocado Cocktail and Deep Fried Mozzarella.
Five mains include the sure-fire winner of Festive Turkey with traditional vegetables, duck fat potatoes, pork and apricot stuffing.
Alternatives include Braised Beef, Grilled Salmon Caesar Salad, Festive Burger and Butternut Squash Risotto.
The chefs at The Grand are famous for their hand-crafted desserts; they’re ones not to miss at Christmas!
They include: Steamed Christmas Pudding, Chocolate Torte, Apple and Rhubarb Crumble and Clementine Posset.

There is a choice of seven delectable starters, including: Creamed Leek and Potato Soup; Fresh Crab; Goats Cheese Salad and more.
There is an extensive choice of mains, including Festive Turkey, Pork Tenderloin, Honey Roasted Salt Aged Duck Breast, 10 Oz 30 Day Matured Grass Fed Beef Ribeye, Pear and Baked Walnut Salad and others.
Also available, is a real treat for families – Festive Afternoon Tea, with the menu available here.
You can enjoy this with classic breakfast tea for £25 or Champagne or mulled wine for £30.
Diners can enjoy:
- Scones: Cranberry and orange homemade scones, accompanied by Cornish clotted cream with strawberry and pepper preserve
- Sandwiches: Roast turkey with cranberry sauce; Maple glazed ham with tomato chutney; Smoked salmon, cucumber and crème fraiche; Free range egg and cress; Pork and apricot sausage roll
- Sweets: Raspberry Bakewell tart; Apple cinnamon crumble tart; Chocolate and hazelnut delice; Lemon and poppy seed cake.
The Festive Afternoon Teas are available seven days a week from now until 31st December 2023 (excluding Christmas Day).
The menus have been carefully crafted by the talented team of chefs at the Grand led by award-winning chef, Colin Gannon, who took up a position as Director of Food at The Grand and Mikhail Hotel and Leisure Group, earlier this year, and by Group Head Chef Callum King.
