The Cake Box Southport has launched a fun competition inviting people to Design Your Own Cake!
The content has been launched by The Cake Box which has a shop at 22 Market Street in Southport town centre.
The winner will see their design come to life, designed by Cake Box owner and acclaimed cake baker Lauren Wickham.
There are gift cards available for second and third place too.
Lauren said: “Hey, sweet-toothed creatives of all ages!
“It’s time to whisk up your imagination and put your drawing skills to the test. I’ve not done a competition in a while so I’m thrilled to announce The Cake Box Southport first ever ‘Design Your Own Cake’ competition, and I want YOU to join the fun!”
HOW TO ENTER:
- Send The Cake Box Southport a message via Facebook Messenger here or email thecakeboxsouthport@gmail.com and Lauren will send you the design sheet (you’ll need to print it out) or pop into the shop and she will have some ready for you
- Design your dream cake, be as creative as possible
- Snap a photo and send it back to The Cake Box Southport or bring into the shop
- Share the post and encourage your friends and family to like and join in the fun
PRIZES:
1st Place: Your cake will come to life and Lauren will turn your drawing into your dream cake
2nd Place: £10 gift card
3rd Place: £5 gift card
Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, and overall presentation. Don’t worry; you don’t have to be a pro – love to see all levels of drawing!
DEADLINE:
Submit your entries by 15th May 2024
Winners will be announced on 16th May at 11am in social media stories and contacted via DM / phone number.

Lauren said: “As I have such a passion for baking and cake decorating, I thought it would be fun for other like-minded people and children to showcase their skills and creativity.
“I’m hoping to have lots of entries from all age groups, as we know children love to get creative and I’m sure they would love to create their dream birthday cake but this is also an amazing opportunity for adults to get creative as well.
“You could design your dream wedding cake or cake for a special occasion with the opportunity to have their dreams come true if they win as I will turn their drawing into reality and they can choose what date they would like it for.
“There’s also a chance with 2nd and 3rd place to win a voucher towards a future cake order!
“It’s coming up to my three year anniversary at 22 Market Street and with the plans to pedestrianise the street I’m looking forward to what the future will hold.”
