As autumn begins, The Bold in Southport is unveiling some exciting new menu changes to make lunchtimes ever tastier – and more affordable.
From this week you can head into one of the cosiest venues on Lord Street in Southport town centre, to enjoy a new Senior Citizens Carvery for just £7.25, available Monday–Friday.
The Bold has long prided itself on serving ‘the best carvery in Southport’ which is available to everyone Monday to Saturday for the great value £8.50 (small), £11.95 (medium) or £14.95 (large).
You can crown your lunch in style with The Bold’s brand new Crumble Corner!
Tuck into the ‘Crumble Of The Day’ with lashings of soothing hot custard which you can add to your carvery for an additional £2.50 Monday to Saturday or £4 on Sunday.
Sundays are bigger and bolder too with a Bold Super Sunday that offers premium cuts, market-fresh veg, plus ultimate carvery extras for £16.95 (regular) or £19.95 (large).
There’s lots for children too, with a Kids Meal Deal that includes a choice of chicken nuggets, fish fingers, mini hamburger, or mac & cheese plus a selection of ice cream, plus a Fruit Shoot, for just £10.95.
You can also start the day well at The Bold too with Breakfast served between 7am and 10.30am, with dishes including Bold’s full breakfast; veggie breakfast; bacon & eggs; crumpets; eggs benedict; and more.

As well as a cosy indoor restaurant, The Bold also offers a beautiful outdoor terrace, perfect for warmer weather, while their Red Rum Suite allows them to cater for a wide range of celebrations and events with up to 200 guests at a time.

Steeped in history, The Bold is the oldest hotel in Southport. It was originally constructed in 1832 by Thomas Mawdsley, built in late Georgian style.
