The Atkinson on Lord Street in Southport is looking forward to reopening next week!
The centre has been closed since the coronavirus outbreak in March but is now able to welcome back visitors after the Government eased some of the lockdown restrictions.
There will be limits on what people can and cannot access when the centre reopens.
An Atkinson spokesman said: “We are looking forward to safely welcoming you back into The Atkinson. The building is reopening in stages, with reduced visiting times and limited services.
“From Monday 20 July, the Library will be open 11am – 4pm for ‘click & collect’ services only. Items can be returned and reservations collected from the external library door. Visitors will not be permitted into the Library at this time.
“The Box Office will only be accessible to customers awaiting cash refunds, 11am – 4pm. As with other public services, we are limiting the number of visitors allowed into The Atkinson, please expect to queue to enter the building. You are also required to provide NHS Test & Trace details on arrival.
“A Great Little Place is currently offering a takeaway service from the external café door, with a reduced menu and limited outdoor seating, 10am – 4pm.
“We are unable to offer toilet facilities at this time.
“The Museum, Gallery, Shop, Theatre and Studio remain closed until further notice. The Atkinson is closed on Sundays.
“We appreciate your support in following guidance from staff, ensuring a safe environment is maintained at all times.”
