Liverpool Theatre School Graduate Erin Oliver is Making Her West End Debut in Oliver!

Southport performer Erin Oliver (21) is set to make her professional West End debut, joining the cast of Oliver! at London’s Gielgud Theatre. The talented performer, who graduated from Liverpool Theatre School in 2023, will appear in the ensemble of the iconic musical. 

Erin discovered her passion for performing at just five years old and took part in local productions before spending three years training in professional musical theatre at Liverpool Theatre School, refining her singing, dancing and acting skills.  

Speaking about her West End debut, Erin said: “I’m so excited to be part of such a brilliant show. The training and audition preparation at Liverpool Theatre School really helped build my confidence as a performer. Making it to the West End has always been my dream and to see it come true is just amazing.”

Maxine Ellis, Principal at Liverpool Theatre School, said: “Erin always demonstrated natural talent and a strong work ethic. Seeing her take to the West End stage is a proud moment for everyone at Liverpool Theatre School and a fine example of what our students can achieve.”  

Liverpool Theatre School graduates have gone on to appear in productions such as Six, Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Blood Brothers and Frozen. The school

offers full-time professional training in musical theatre and dance. Auditions for the next intake are now open, with bursaries and fully funded places available. 

Liverpool Theatre School, which has been training talented young performers for more than 85 years, also provides coaching for under-16s through its Junior Academy.
