Starkidz, established in 2011, is a children’s entertainment party and event company which specialises in creating unforgettable experiences for kids across the North West.

A StarKidz spokesperson said: “Over the years, we’ve become the trusted choice for events that bring joy and leave lasting memories.

“We also employ young performing arts students who have a great passion and enable the team to learn and grow in confidence whilst working with us.”

The driving force behind Starkidz’s success is the dynamic partnership between founder Jan Hayes and her daughter, Ellie.

Jan, a determined young mother with a vision, started Starkidz from scratch. With Ellie’s enthusiastic support, the duo has taken the company to new heights.

Ellie’s journey with Starkidz began early, immersing herself in all aspects of the business. From party preparation to playing the role of host and princess, Ellie’s dedication shines through. Her knack for entertaining kids and managing administrative tasks keeps Starkidz running smoothly. Not many people can say they performed at Glastonbury at 12 years old!

Their collaboration injects youthful energy into the company, fueled by a shared passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

Working hand in hand, Jan and Ellie bring fresh perspectives to every facet of the business, ensuring Starkidz remains innovative and dedicated to surpassing expectations.

Together, they continue to set the standard for children’s entertainment, making Starkidz a go-to choice for unforgettable celebrations.

The competition was tough, with a record number of entries from family businesses across the region. But Starkidz stood out! Co-hosts Dave Clarkson and Sue Howorth, along with food writer Nigel Barden, will make the event on May 10th a blast.
