Southport’s brand new exclusive rooftop bar is now open, as it unveils a unique cocktail and food menu.
Harry’s opened at the top of The Grand on Lord Street in Southport on Saturday (13th July 2024) after a stunning £1.3 million transformation.
It promises to be the place to be seen in town, with talented DJs providing the atmosphere and a beautiful new outdoor and indoor space suitable for all weathers.
People can reserve places via The Grand Southport website here. These exclusive tables must be booked by prior arrangement.
It will soon be joined by the Sky Bar, which is opening in a few days’ time.
There is an Asian twist to the menu, with delicious small plates including Teriyaki Pork Belly, HoiSin Duck Tacos and more. The menu will be available to view on The Grand Southport website.
Mixologists have been busy creating some spectacular new cocktails that will be a must-try for visitors.

Guests will be able to enjoy cocktails, Champagne, Prosecco, craft beer, wine, non-alcoholic spirits, and shareable plates sitting above Southport’s famous tree-lined Lord Street boulevard.
Harry’s Operations Manager Michael Howard, said: “We are delighted to welcome everyone to explore our new Harry’s rooftop bar this weekend!
“People have already been making reservations for the new place to go in Southport.
“It has become a big talking point. Harry’s is a really fun, vibrant and chilled out place to be.
“This is the most exclusive, sought-after events space in Southport.
“It has that ‘wow’ factor for anyone who walks in.

“It’s the epitome of sophistication, where flair and funk meet in perfect harmony.
“Our team of chefs have created a superb food menu, which features some amazing small plates with an Oriental flavour to them.
“The dishes are of similar quality to those which diners love on the menu at The Grand.
“We are excited to unveil our new cocktail menu, which has some exciting new signature cocktails.
“They include ‘The Bird Cage’, and others, which are going to become the most talked-about drinks in Southport.”
No expense has been spared with the furniture, the decor, the grass, the trees, the planters – and the new artwork.
Two huge New York themed murals at Harry’s by acclaimed street artist Shawn Sharpe of Good Good Graffiti are now complete.

Michael said: “We want Harry’s to be a place where people can come and have a great time, with everything they need.
“It is a fantastic space to soak up the sunshine, but we also have 100 cosy blankets, and heaters, for evenings when the temperatures drop a little.
“The DJs will be playing soft house to keep everyone in the mood.
“We want to create an atmosphere that’s so good that people won’t want to leave!
“Entrance will be through The Grand, where you can book, or you can book online through The Grand Southport website.
“We will have space for around 120 guests in total, with 60 people outside and another 60 inside, where we have an indoor bar and toilets.

“There is a lift up to Harry’s, it is a very accessible space.
“We have a strict dress code in place, with no sportswear allowed.
“It is the perfect place for special events, for private functions, for celebrations – somewhere really unique and memorable.

The first phase of The Grand opened on 15th July 2022, following a £4 million transformation by Mikhail Hotel & Leisure Group. It saw the creation of 60 local jobs.

Guests can enjoy The Grand Brasserie and Chloe’s Bar on the ground floor.
The 250-seater Princess Grace function room and wedding suite on the first floor has become the premier events and function room in Southport, catering for events, weddings, celebrations and conferences.
The stunning art deco building was created in 1923 as a car showroom and garage designed by Richard Woodhead, and celebrated its 100th anniversary last year.
In 1938 it was repurposed and largely rebuilt as The Grand Cinema, designed by George Edward Tonge and screened its final movies in 1966. It later became The Grand Casino.

The reopening of The Grand in 2022 represented Phase One of the firm’s proposals for the site.
Phase Two would see the creation of a wellness centre, spa and hotel rooms.
