The Southport Sausage and Cider Festival comes to Victoria Park in Southport this weekend  – and here’s all you need to know about this brand new event! 

What is the Southport Sausage and Cider Festival? 

The Southport Sausage and Cider Festival is an unforgettable celebration of flavour, music, and high-energy entertainment.

Hosted inside the Large Beer Hall Marquee, this vibrant event promises a lively Bavarian-inspired atmosphere packed with ciders from across the UK, delicious food, and interactive experiences.

Organised by Southport Beer Festivals inside an indoor heated marquee with lots of seating and a bar, this event is set to be one of the highlights of the local calendar.

It follows the success of Southport Oktoberfest and the Southport St Patrick’s Day Shindig Party.

When is the Southport Sausage and Cider Festival? 

Saturday, 18th April 2026. 

Festival-goers can choose from two sessions:

  • Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Evening Session: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Where is the Southport Sausage and Cider Festival? 

Victoria Park, Southport PR8 1RX

It is close to bus stops on Lord Street in Southport town centre; or a 15 minute walk from Southport Train Station. 

There is car parking (charges apply) at the Esplanade Car Park next to Victoria Park.

What can I expect? 

This vibrant event promises a lively Bavarian-inspired atmosphere packed with ciders from across the UK, delicious food, and interactive experiences.

Proudly sponsored by Thatchers Cider, the festival will feature a wide range of exciting competitions and giveaways. 

Visitors can take part in the popular “Spin to Win” experience with hundreds of prizes up for grabs, collect exclusive branded Thatchers take-home cups, and even enter for the chance to win your height in cider—one of the event’s most talked-about prizes.

Food lovers can indulge in a unique selection of cider-infused sausages from a local award-winning sausage maker, perfectly complementing the festival’s impressive drinks lineup. Guests will enjoy a curated menu of over 20 ciders, alongside a variety of craft ales, beers, and lagers.

Is there entertainment at Southport Sausage and Cider Festival? 

Entertainment will be at the heart of the festival, with the return of the crowd-favourite Bavarian Stompers oompah band, bringing authentic, foot-stomping tunes to the marquee. 

A live host and DJ will keep the energy high throughout the day and evening, running competitions, giveaways, and engaging with the crowd from the stage.

The fully themed beer marquee will transport attendees straight to Bavaria, creating a festive, high-energy environment perfect for friends, couples, and groups looking for a memorable day or night out.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly – early booking is highly recommended.
