Families in Southport are being invited to enjoy a Covid safe Halloween Trail this October – and help to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice.
The Southport Halloween Trail is the brainchild of children’s entertainment expert Jan Hayes, who runs Starkidz Entertainment.
She has teamed up with Stephanie Marr, owner of Print ‘n’ Gift UK in Southport.
Print ‘n’ Gift has been selling Southport Halloween Trail stickers for people to put up in their windows, to show families that their homes are decorated in true Halloween style.
Jan has then drawn up lists of roads where families can drive by or walk past in a Covid safe way and enjoy Halloween trails across Southport.
Rather than the traditional trick or treating this year, parents, carers and guardians are being invited to take sweets with them to give to their children whenever they see a spooky house.

Jan Hayes said: “I just want to thank you all soooo much for getting involved! I’m so excited to get out and go on walks with my daughter and go spotting! Make sure you give us a wave if you see us!
“Please let me know if your street hasn’t been added to the list that will be at the top of the page in announcements, also if you live on a mega long road, could you let us know what end you are!
“I’m probably going to walk a different area each day, to get my step count up, and look at all the wonderful creations. Play a game with my daughter who can find the haunted house first, rather than give her sweets every day! Then on Halloween, take a bag of sweets out with me and for every house we see will give her a sweet.
“Oh we have raised over £160 for the stickers for Queenscourt Hospice which is epic!”
