Southport Football Club are all set for a huge crowd as title-chasing Kidderminster Harriers visit this Saturday (26th April 2025).
The Harriers are currently top of the league on goal difference from Brackley Town with both sides on 89 points, with Scunthorpe United on 87 points.
A win at the Big Help Stadium would see Kidderminster promoted as Champions through the only automatic promotion spot available, with their rivals having to face the play-offs.
The away side have already bought over 1,400 tickets, meaning it will be a lively atmosphere on Haig Avenue this weekend.
A Southport FC spokesperson said: “We welcome title chasing Kidderminster Harriers to The Big Help Stadium on Saturday, the kick off is at 3pm.
“A win for our visitors sees them win the title.
“Tickets are on sale HERE and once again we are expecting a bumper crowd making advance purchase highly recommended.
“As of 6.30pm Wednesday Kidderminster fans have snapped up 1,420 tickets which will ensure we record our highest ever National League North average home gate and beat the aggregate total by some margin albeit some of the earlier seasons did only have 42 games.
“Potentially we could exceed the highest National League aggregate of all time even including Conference National games.
“We need a few more (2,600) to make that happen though!
“To guarantee a printed matchday programme it is advisable to order in advance as only a limited number will be on sale at the ground on the day. We have ordered more than usual but already pre orders are high. Order before 7pm Friday HERE”
Southport FC are currently 19th in the league, with 50 points from 45 games.
