Southport College has paid tribute to Lecturer Jo Graham, who was “an incredibly valued” member of their Construction department.
Jo worked as an architect at several firms across Merseyside before joining the college to share her knowledge and insights with students four years ago.
A Southport College spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear colleague Jo Graham.
“Jo was an incredibly valued member of our construction department who brought a wealth of experience and expertise to our T-Level Design, Surveying and Planning qualification.
“After a successful career as an architect and working in multiple architectural firms across Merseyside, she joined us in September 2022 to complete her PGCE to then become a permanent Lecturer in Construction in 2023.
“Jo was warm, friendly, welcoming and extremely passionate about her job.
“Loved by her colleagues and students alike, it is difficult to put into words how greatly she will be missed.
“The entire community here at Southport College would like to extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends during this extremely difficult time.”
