An Open Event specially designed for adults on Thursday, 16th September between 3.30pm and 7pm.
The event has been created to give people the chance to find out about the wide range of courses available for adults at the college, ranging from studying for a full honours degree or retraining for a complete new career to part time classes adding to your existing skills or learning something new for pleasure.
It’s an informal event, with anyone interested encouraged to pop in, have a look around, meet the friendly tutors, ask any questions they may have and hopefully find the perfect course for them.
There will also be information on student support and, if you are thinking of doing a degree level course, how to apply for a student loan too (which incidentally you don’t have to start paying back until you earn over £27,000).
Many of the adults who study at the college are parents who have returned to education after some time, having decided they now want to pursue an exciting new career, so children are very welcome at the event, and there is also free car parking on site and complimentary refreshments too.
There is still time to start your course this autumn, so whether you are thinking of studying for a BSc in Criminology or just want to learn some beginners Spanish for when holidays are back on, pop in to the college on Thursday 16th September and find out everything you need to know!
