Southport Market paid partnership
Southport Artisan Market is looking forward to returning for its fourth outing this June after a packed event earlier this month!
The popular event, organised by Independent Street, will return to Southport Market and the surrounding streets (Market Street and King Street between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 6th June 2026.
Taking place on the first Saturday of every month, the Artisan Market supports and celebrates the region’s talented independent makers and producers.
Each month, just under 70 small independent businesses showcase their work, featuring the very best in award‑winning local food, fresh produce, arts and crafts, and vintage wares.
Visitors can also enjoy live music and free children’s craft activities, making it a lively and welcoming experience for all ages.
Admission is free.
Earlier this month the Artisan market coincided with the stunning Big Top Festival, during one of the busiest weekends seen in Southport town centre in recent years.
The Artisan Market was packed with visitors, much to the delight of traders who can’t wait to return to Southport.
Crafty Nana said: “Southport Artisan Market in May was absolutely fabulous, well organised and we were all offered support and check-ins from the team throughout the day.
“I sold 30 seaglass pictures! My previous highest was 19.
“The traders are all so lovely and kind, what an amazing team to be part of.”

The market launched in March and will take place on the first Saturday of every month throughout the year.

There are inside and outside trade options available and local artisans are asked to get in touch to showcase.
