Smiths TV is one of the oldest family-run local businesses in the Liverpool City Region.
Today Smiths TV operates shops on Manchester Road in Southport and on Chapel Lane in Formby. As well as a large national presence through their website. They are now one of the largest independent electrical retailers in the country.
In 2022 the firm invested £1 million on a huge new warehouse in West Lancashire.
It allows them to stock all the biggest brands and sell them at competitive prices, before ensuring they deliver them to people quickly.
Smiths TV is famed for its wide range of quality TVs but it also sells and installs other white goods including washing machines, dryers, washer dryers, cookers, ovens, microwaves, TV accessories, DVD players, fridges, freezers, fridge freezers, dishwashers, and small appliances such as blenders, bread makers, heaters, irons, kettles, toasters and vacuum cleaners.

Smiths TV has operated in the area for over 50 years but the company is well over 100 years old, having previously operated a department store in Williamson Square and a large store on Lord Street in Liverpool city centre.
