Over 100 people gathered to enjoy the unique opportunity of fun, fashion and afternoon tea whilst beating last year’s record and raising £10,500 for Rainbow Hub – the Lancashire charity supporting children and young people with  physical and neurological disabilities.

The annual Sip & Shop event, sponsored by EMG Solicitors and legal partner Fletchers Solicitors, was held at the Waterfront Southport Hotel on Sunday 4th October 2026.

The fun started the moment everyone arrived and they were soon enjoying afternoon tea, along with a fabulous fashion show provided by Southport’s Fallen Angelz boutique.

Hayley Murray hosted the event and rounded off the afternoon with a repertoire of classic hits which got everyone dancing.

In between all the fun, some serious shopping took place at a wonderful selection of stalls from Wild Links Permanent Jewellery; Hidden Vines; Kendalls Jewellery Box;  Lip Fix Cosmetics; Pemfit, Merseyside; Lollipops and Morecambe Heat.

Kat Nelson, Head of Fundraising and Marketing, Rainbow Hub, said,

“It was another fabulous, fun afternoon, raising the fantastic sum of £10,500 – every pound will  help us continue supporting children with disabilities across the North West.

“Our grateful thanks go to our friends at EMG and Fletchers Solicitors for their ongoing support.

“Heartfelt thanks to Hayley Murray and Tina at Fallen Angelz Boutique for making the afternoon special.

“Huge thanks to River Barn, Amazon and William Foley who donated to our silent auction;  Crown Events NW for gifting the beautiful balloon display; Gareth Edwards Photography for donating his skills and capturing the afternoon so brilliantly and all the volunteers who helped behind the scenes.

“Finally, massive thanks to all who joined us for another afternoon to remember with a great result for our charity – we can’t wait to do it all again next year.”
