Students at Scarisbrick Hall School near Southport are once again celebrating some exceptional A-Level results.
Over 70% of all grades achieved were at A*/A with a 100% pass rate for the fifth year in a row and 90% of the grades at A* – B.
All pupils achieved their choice of university.
Scarisbrick Hall School said that this year, more than any other, they have demonstrated determination, character, and resilience.

The school said that results are exceptionally strong and in line with the pattern of high achievement that they have come to expect.
Scarisbrick Hall School Headteacher Mr Shaw said: “Congratulations to all of our students.
“Their outstanding achievement reflects the strong knowledge and studious attitude that they applied to their subjects. We are incredibly proud of every one of them.

“As well as their academic achievements, I am incredibly proud of who they are as individuals.
“Their talents, compassion, integrity and knowledge will enable them to succeed in life, as well as leaving lasting mark on our local and global community.”
Some of the highest achievers include Abbey Tomlinson who achieved 4 A* grades as well as Diva Anand, Amelia Collict and Molly O’Donoghue who achieved 3A*’s each.
Max Nolan achieved AAA.

I taught at Scarisbrick Hall in the 1990s in the Support Learning Unit that was run by a very wonderful teacher who lead a team of outstandingly well trained people. I enjoyed my time there and I am delighted that the Sixth Form is alive and doing very well.
