A Recruitment Day is taking place this week for a number of roles at three hotels in Southport.
Britannia Hotels is advertising for receptionists, porters, chefs, bar staff, sales managers and other positions at: The Scarisbrick Hotel on Lord Street, The Prince of Wales Hotel on Lord Street and The Royal Clifton Hotel on the Promenade.
The Royal Clifton Hotel is Britannia Hotels’ latest acquisition, taking the total number of ventures owned by the company in Southport to four. The firm also operates Pontins holiday park in Ainsdale.
The 120-bedroom hotel put up for sale in June 2020 for £6million, in a sale handled by Christie & Co. It is not yet known how much the hotel was finally sold for. It boasts nine function rooms catering up to 300 people as well as a leisure club & health spa facility.
A Britannia spokesperson said: “We are pleased to be recruiting for a number of roles in Southport! There are opportunities at three of our hotels in a variety of roles.
“To meet the best candidates for these roles, we are hosting a recruitment day at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Please bring your printed CV with you – there is no need to confirm your attendance in advance.”
