Purely Slice in Birkdale Village in Southport

Purely Slice will open in Birkdale Village in Southport this weekend.

The new venture is drawing inspiration from the renowned pizzerias of Naples and New York City.

Prior to their official opening on Thursday 28th September, they will be offering their delicious pizzas at sister venue Tea Rooms Wine Bar every Friday and Saturday night from 4pm to 10pm.

Purely Slice chefs will be using time honoured methods to create their pizza dough, with a diverse and progressive take on locally sourced and inventive ingredients.

An extensive menu includes a choice of thirteen different 12 inch or 16 inch pizzas, including Cheese, Pepperoni, Bianca, Nduja, New Yorker, Shroom and Truffle, Caprese and more.

There is a choice of five different pizzas by the slice, while diners can also choose from a selection of salads, desserts, gelato, sides and drinks.

The owners, James Birchall and Colin Robinson, decided to establish a venue in Birkdale Village after the success of their restaurant, Purely Pizza, which they opened in Burscough nearly two years ago.

Birkdale was an obvious choice for them, given its close proximity to James’s other establishment Tea Rooms Wine Bar and how vibrant Birkdale Village has become .

Purely Pizza is currently hiring new team members, including: a pizza chef (training provided), an in-store team member and a delivery driver.
