Mums, couples and families looking forward to welcoming their new babies into the world are offered expert support from former midwife of 22 years, Alison Fiddler, who runs yogapanacea.com.
Alison has been specialising in pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing and postnatal yoga since 2010.
After caring for thousands of mums and families and being present at more than 1,200 births there are not many questions or concerns that Alison has not heard or helped women and families with. Questions like:

With hypnobirthing and birth preparation workshops Alison loves working with women and their birth partners to help them get ready together for the ‘big day’, helping birth partners to feel confident, in control and knowing exactly what to expect and what to do during the labour and birth so mum feels completely supported. Alison says that “it is so important for birth partners and dads to understand their role and all the important and practical things to do to support mum and baby.” Alison explains that “when birth partners are feeling knowledgeable empowered and confident in their role then this has a dramatically positive impact on the birth as mum knows that she can feel relaxed, calm and looked after and they can enjoy the special experience of their labour and baby’s birth together.”

Alison first qualified as a nurse many years ago and then went on to become a midwife and worked as a Registered Midwife for 22 years,across the UK and New Zealand until December 2019.
She was teaching her Yoga Panacea brand of yoga in London for 12 years and for the last two years has been teaching her classes online. Online pregnancy and postnatal classes continue each week and Alison is delighted to be restarting her face-to-face classes once again – now in her new home of Southport.
