Southport shoppers are in for a treat this weekend as outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse will officially open the doors to a new store at Meols Cop Retail Park this Saturday, (22nd November 2025).
The latest store will span 9,103 square feet, offering a wide range of affordable, quality outdoor clothing and equipment to local residents.
Visitors will also be able to browse a wide selection of best-sellers, including walking boots, waterproof jackets, camping kit, and other essentials for all types of outdoor adventures.
Shoppers can also expect to find the active lifestyle brand Animal’s range of products within the store.
Mountain Warehouse founder, Mark Neale, said:
“We are delighted to open our new Southport store as we continue our expansion as a business. We’re excited to continue sharing our passion for adventure with both residents and visitors.”
The new store opening has created 6 new jobs in the area.
The launch is part of Mountain Warehouse’s wider business expansion plans, following record sales in its latest annual results, driven by new stores and relocations. The retailer is also set to continue its growth with 50 new openings and relocations across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and Canada in the following year.
Established in 1997, Mountain Warehouse operates over 400 stores and multiple websites across nine countries, with the UK ranking as its largest market.
