Dan Johnstone owner of 600 Degrees Pizza

A brand new licensed pizzeria is opening in Hillside in Southport next week!

600 Degrees will open at 66a Sandon Road, Hillside, Southport, PR8 4QD next Wednesday (13th December 2023).

It follows the huge success of the 600 Degrees outlet which opened inside Southport Market two years ago.

600 Degrees owner Dan Johnstone said: “We are glad to announce that we will be opening our doors next Wednesday December the 13th!

“We will have our L plates on so please be patient with us.

“Initially it will be a limited menu of pizzas for take out and pizza and drinks for dine in, in the new year we will be rolling out an expanded dine-in menu.

“Keep your eyes peeled for info on our table reservation and click and collect apps, we are just in the process of putting the finishing touches to these…..for now though feel free to call in or use the good old fashioned way of communicating  01704 331340

“Myself and the 600° crew can’t wait to see you.”

600 Degrees in Hillside will be a new licensed pizzeria where you can eat in or take away, with delivery coming soon.

It all started when the founder, Dan, and his wife went to the Amalfi coast of Italy on their honeymoon, also spending time in Naples, the home of Neapolitan Pizza!

Over the years Dan has experimented cooking in as many different ways as he could, including a tandoor oven made out of a bin, a brick built BBQ, a DIY smoker and the most recent being a garden brick wood fired oven to make pizza in Southport.

Since 2017, 600 Degrees has successfully been catering at weddings, private parties and corporate events across the North West.
