A two-day festival of music and family fun is set to take over Southport town centre on 13th and 14th September 2025.

The first Coastal Jam festival promises two fun-filled days of live music and family activities, with stages at the Town Hall Gardens, Market Street, and a host of performances at bars and venues across the town centre.

On Saturday 13th September Market Street will be transformed into a street party with an outdoor stage and festivities.

Kyle Shaw, Lucy Starr, Coopers Jazz Band and Clockwork Gibbons are set to perform, alongside a record fair, stalls, street performers, and activities at Southport Market.

Roaming brass band Sticky Lips will bring the party, taking their unique brand of high energy bouncing brass for a spin around the town centre on Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday 14th September, attention will be focused on the Town Hall Gardens, with a spectacular stage show taking place between 11am and 6pm.

The event will begin with family-friendly performances that are sure to delight the kids.

CBBC stars Andy and The Odd Socks will kick off proceedings with a high-energy performance, before Mosh Tots entertain tiny rebels and mini moshers!

A line-up of talented bands and performers will then take to the stage throughout the afternoon, including bombastic 6-piece collective Kiki Music Collective, 80’s specialists Hello Felix, and local rockers Frank Flight Band.

There will be much more than music in the Town Hall Gardens, with food and drink from local traders and activity stalls for everyone to explore.

As well as the stages, bars and pubs in Southport town centre will be hosting a jam-packed line-up of live music for Coastal Jam throughout the weekend.  The perfect opportunity to go bar-hopping whilst enjoying a selection of fantastic local acts.

Full listings will be released soon, with venues such as Coopers Bar, Sinclair’s, Punch Tarmey’s, The Windmill, Tap and Bottles, Carlton and Banff set to be involved.

Southport’s first Coastal Jam festival is organised by Southport BID and Sefton Council with the support of town centre businesses.
