A new bar and cafe could soon open in Kew in Southport.
A planning application for the scheme, at 47 Ovington Drive, has been submitted to Sefton Council.
If the plans are approved, the building, in the parade of shops near Kew Wood Primary School, would be converted from retail use to a bar and cafe.
The applicant said: “We are looking to change the purpose of the shop from retail to a bar that will also sell coffees, snacks and milkshakes.”
The proposed opening hours would be 8am until 11pm Monday to Friday, 9pm to 11pm on Saturdays and 10am until 10pm on Sundays.
