Southport Neighbourhood Policing Team are in the process of organising a Participatory Budget Event.
This will be aimed at community groups and organisations to bid for money to be used to benefit the community of Southport.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: “We invite groups, organisations and charities to attend an initial meeting which will be held on Thursday 21st November 2024 between 4.30pm and 5.30pm at Southport Town Hall, Lord Street, PR8 1DA.
“The Neighbourhood Policing Team will deliver all the information and details on how the event will run.
“This is a brilliant opportunity to work with groups in Southport and to put money into the community. We are looking forward to meeting everyone involved.”
