They are looking forward to enjoying 10 superb shows across three days and nights at The Grand, on Lord Street, to see headliners including Clare Teal, Liane Carroll, Emma Holcroft, Claire Martin and others with female stars at the forefront and shows to suit all tastes.

Southport Jazz Festival takes place from 30th January – 1st February 2026 with plenty to savour, from trios to big bands, young performers to jazz legends, and even a special vocal workshop with jazz legend Liane Carroll.

Tickets are on sale at the Southport Jazz Festival website: southportjazz.co.uk

Southport Jazz Festival is directed by Emma Murphy, Jez Murphy and Clifford Ray.

They said:

“We are really pleased with how well things are going!

“Last year was our best ever Southport Jazz Festival in terms of visitors – and we’re very much on course to beat that this year!

“Every year we keep investing to try and bring the very best artists we can to Southport.

“We have a very exciting line-up this year, with something for everyone.

“This is an event for music lovers. We’ve had some fantastic comments from people who came last year, expecting something for real jazz enthusiasts only, but they absolutely loved it and they’re coming back.

“We have people coming to Southport from all four corners of the UK!

“There will be visitors here to enjoy the weekend from the Isle Of Man; Kirkcaldy; Glasgow, London; south Wales; Scarborough; Buxton; Manchester; Liverpool; Lancashire; Newcastle; you name it.

“These are just some of the places that we know about! It’s always interesting to speak with people and find out where they’re travelling from, and also what else they’re heading out to enjoy while they’re spending time in Southport.

“We have such fantastic feedback from visitors who have been to previous Southport Jazz Festivals.

“They’re wowed by the festival being held at The Grand, which is such a stunning venue.

“It’s so well sited, right in the middle of the Northern Quarter, with so much on the doorstep.

“People can eat at The Grand and they can also eat around the world, with other food and drink venues so close such as Volare – which has just won the award for the UK’s Best Restaurant! – plus The Bold, Tappers, Volare, Thai Rice, The Windmill, Auberge, Nazar, Sapori, Korean Kitchen, and so many more.

“Bnging so many people into Southport town centre for a busy music festival on a winter’s weekend will give a big boost to lots of local businesses nearby.

“We have tickets available for our shows – check out our website and see what you fancy coming to see.

“As ever, we have created our ticket options to be really flexible, so you can come and see one show, or come for a whole day, or come and see the whole festival for just £169, which is fantastic value, saving more money the more shows you come and enjoy.

“We’re very grateful to the ongoing support of our festival volunteers and to the brilliant team at The Grand, who have been absolutely superb to work with.

“Southport Jazz Festival will be here very soon and we’re all so excited to see some of the most talented musicians in the British jazz scene performing on stage in Southport.”
