MasterChef semi finalist Jay Tinker has created special Christmas Menus for a new hotel in Southport.
Jay Tinker wowed judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode as he stormed through to the semi finals of the famous TV competition in 2012.
He has now designed a ‘Jay Tinker’s Christmas Special Taster Meal’ at the Anelli Hotel & Amici Bar.
The events take place over the next three Fridays: 3rd, 10th and 17th December.
Food will be served from 6.30pm onwards, with guests asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before that so they can be seated before the first course arrives.
The menu features:
Spiced Butternut Squash Soup with croutons;
Smoked Salmon with horseradish cream and salad;
Jay Tinker’s Masterchef Roast Dinner served with homemade gravy;
Baileys and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
The menu is available for £40 per person.
Anelli Hotel & Amici Bar, on Avondale Road in Southport, opened earlier this year and is owned by the Anelli family.
Adriana Anelli said: “We are delighted to offer diners our special Christmas Special Taster Meal, served in conjunction with Jay Tinker Events.
“Jay Tinker is a truly fantastic chef! Having been a semi finalist on MasterChef we were so excited to do some evenings with him.
“We have hosted two sold-out events so far with a fantastic atmosphere and happy faces all round which is what is most important to us.
“We are really excited for our first Christmas here at the Anelli Hotel & Amici Bar and we hope that people will come and join us for Christmas drinks and cocktails on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and for our New Year’s Eve Party!
“We are also opening for a few hours in the afternoon on Christmas Day.”
